The public preview at this address uses sample data only. It keeps what you do in your browser for the current visit and sends nothing to our servers.

What we store

• Account: your email address and, if you add them, a display name and clothing sizes.
• Your AURAs: the goals, occasions, budgets, preferences and style directions you choose.
• Wardrobe: items you add yourself, including any photos you upload (only with your photo-processing consent).
• Activity in AuraTip: outfits suggested to you, outfits you save, your shopping list, feedback after wearing an outfit, and purchases you choose to record.
• Retailer link clicks: which retailer offer you opened and when. This is for your records and our reporting. Retailers attribute commissions through the link itself and never receive your account details from us.
• Consents: what you have allowed, and when.

Why we use it

To build and rank outfit recommendations for your goals, keep your lists and budgets, and learn from feedback you give. Our legal basis is providing the service you asked for, and your consent for optional features. We don’t sell your data and we don’t use it for advertising.

AI processing

AuraTip works without AI. If you turn on AI personalisation, the text of your goals is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to help interpret them. Products and prices never come from the AI. You can turn this off at any time in your profile.

Your choices and rights

• Turn each consent on or off in your profile: AI personalisation, photo processing, event tracking and marketing.
• Export your data, clear your feedback history, or delete your account, from your profile.
• Remove anything AuraTip learned from your feedback.
• Ask us about your data at [CONTACT EMAIL]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Who we share it with

Service providers that run AuraTip for us: hosting (Vercel (website)), sign-in (Clerk) and, only if you’ve opted in, AI (Anthropic (Claude)). They process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed straight away from the live service, and from backups within 30 days.
